VOLUNTEER
Each personalized gift is accompanied by a survivor story. We include photos and personal messages from children who have lived through these traumatic experiences and want to share their stories of hope and survival.

Many children will leave the hospital with multiple scars, both internal and external. Receiving a personalized gift reminds survivors that they are never alone or without hope. We hand deliver these cherished gifts whenever possible.

COMPASSION

Over 4.5 million people in the U.S. are bitten by dogs annually, and according to the CDC, more than 400,000 children receive medical attention each year for their injuries. Many children will sustain severe life threatening injuries and suffer extensive external scars, often requiring a lifetime of surgeries. These kids can struggle with internal scars such as PTSD, night terrors, anxiety, panic attacks and extreme fear.
We work hard to ensure these children know they are not alone. We strive to put a smile of the face of every survivor by providing them with a personalized gift along with a strong support system.
